The Mechanical Design Department at SAZ Aerospace s.r.o. focuses on providing reliable design solutions for the aviation industries. Our work covers everything from airframe design to the integration of avionics units and harness installations, tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers.

Our team brings experience in various aspects of mechanical design, including:

  • Airframe design and structural optimization
  • Integration and installation of avionics units
  • Harnesses and cable routing
  • Engine installation and nacelle design
  • Design of simulators and control panels for both civil and military aircraft
  • Aerodynamic component design, such as radomes and engine nacelle.

Tools

We use Dassault Systèmes CATIA V5 for flexible and precise design work, and ENOVIA SmarTeam for efficient and secure data management and seamless exchange with our customers.

Significant Projects

Some of the key projects our department has completed include:

  • Garmin G3000 Avionics Integration: Integrating the complete avionics suite into the L410NG aircraft.
  • PT6-52 Engine Installation: Designing and integrating the PT6-52 engine, including the engine mount and nacelle.
  • L39NG Simulator Design: Developing a simulator for the L39NG aircraft.
  • Military Operator Control Panel: Designing an operator control panel for military aircraft.
  • Radome Design: Creating radomes for improved aerodynamic efficiency and protection of avionics systems.
